Peter Adewale

Principal Partner

Dr. Adewale is an innovative and highly motivated process engineer with a strong background in process development, simulation, and modelling. He is particularly interested in AI-driven optimization for user engagement and performance enhancement. His ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams has been instrumental in delivering cutting-edge solutions that bridge research and practical application.

Dr. Adewale earned his PhD from McGill University in the Food and Bioprocess Engineering Lab within the Department of Bioresource Engineering. At McGill, he played a pivotal role in national and international projects focused on characterizing food and biomaterials, as well as valorizing agricultural and industrial waste into value-added products. His postdoctoral research at Lakehead University's Biorefining Research Institute marked a significant milestone in his career, where he initiated and led groundbreaking studies in biomaterials, utilizing forest and agricultural waste as feedstocks..

Following his postdoctoral work, Dr. Adewale joined the National Research Council of Canada's Aquatic and Crop Resource Development (NRC-ACRD) Research Center, where he contributed as a Research Associate in the Bioprocessing and Biocatalysts portfolio. As a project manager, he oversaw multiple research initiatives of both national and international importance, further solidifying his reputation as a leader in process engineering..

His professional journey is marked by a commitment to excellence, adaptability, and continuous learning, which positions him to contribute meaningfully to numerous organizations' missions. An accomplished Project Manager, Registered Electrical Engineer, and Chartered Accountant with over two decades of expertise in project management, strategic planning, and infrastructure development. He thrives in dynamic environments where he has leveraged his leadership skills, technical proficiency, and financial acumen to drive organizational success.

As Assistant Director at the Federal Capital Development Authority, Abuja, Nigeria, He oversees the planning, execution, and completion of critical infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and budgetary constraints. He excels in risk management, contract negotiation, and fostering high-performing teams, consistently delivering impactful results..

Morade Bakare

Lead - Operations

MO brings a rare blend of scientific expertise, healthcare empathy, and business leadership to the world of aquaculture. With a background in microbiology and nursing, earned through rigorous academic training in Nigeria and at Ontario Tech University and Sault Ste. Marie, MO, developed a deep appreciation for precision, care, and resilience. She later fortified her credentials with a Project Management certification, equipping her with the discipline to lead and deliver results in fast-paced environments.

Her professional journey spans healthcare, major retail operations, and real estate industries, where she consistently demonstrated her strengths in strategic thinking, customer service, and team leadership. At one of Canada's largest retail companies, MO led high-performing teams and spearheaded operational initiatives with impact.

As the Lead Operations at GPFED Inc., MO channels her multifaceted background into building a sustainable and innovative business; her unique combination of scientific insight, project execution, and entrepreneurial spirit positions her as a dynamic force in Canada’s growing aquaculture space. Whether navigating regulatory landscapes or forging strategic partnerships, MO leads with clarity, compassion, and an unwavering commitment to excellence.

Odunayo Komolafe

Lead - AI-powered Automation

Engr. Odunayo Komolafe holds a master’s degree in Automation and Robotics Engineering from the Technical University of Dortmund in Germany and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the European University in Cyprus. He is also certified in Project Management, Advanced Intelligent Systems, Machine Learning, and Microsoft Intelligence Technologies, among other things.

He currently serves as a Technical Lead and Senior Engineer in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (AI), where he spearheads the development of advanced robotic and AI technologies and automation solutions, mentoring a team of skilled engineers. He has successfully led several complex projects to completion for prominent German car manufacturing companies, including Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen, and Audi. In his previous roles at Swisslog, iNDAT Robotics, and Johnson Controls, he significantly evaluated and implemented 2D/3D machine vision-guided systems. He has contributed to developing AI-powered systems with notable manufacturers across Germany, Slovakia, and Japan. He has successfully commissioned numerous innovative systems featuring integrated object recognition, intelligent vision-based product inspection, and bin-picking technologies.

As the Lead – AI-powered Automation at GPFED Inc., Odunayo focuses on automating the production system. He utilizes his expertise in robotics, artificial intelligence, and machine learning to innovate state-of-the-art aquacultural management tools. He is fluent in English and German and is a proactive team leader committed to fostering team collaboration and skill development.
